As the problem of hemorrhoids can be a bit embarrassing to discuss, it really isn’t a mystery why many people would rather rely on home remedies than go to a doctor for a consultation. And although Hemorrhoids should not be seen as a serious condition, it can still be quite a discomfort just the same. Good thing there are a number of ways that can help alleviate the pain and the pressures of having hemorrhoids that you can easily do within the comforts of your own home. Want to know what the best possible treatment for hemorrhoids is? It’s actually easier than you think.

When we talk of hemorrhoids, these are usually veins that have become swollen on the anal area. And though these veins are located internally, pressure experienced during bowel movements pushes them out and suddenly becomes external swells. This is why, many doctors emphasize on treatment for hemorrhoids methods that should be able to take away that strain on the anus area. As a staple of any method, doctors never fail to stress on the importance of having a diet that is high in fiber and drinking lots of water so that this awkward situation can be prevented.

For the usual complaints that many hemorrhoid sufferers have such as painful swelling and itching, there are a number of over the counter ointments that can instantly give relief to these usual symptoms. Be prepared to apply the ointment on the affected area a number of times each day so that you can gradually shrink the size of the swelling. And also make sure that you look up reviews on the product online before you try it out yourself so that you have an idea on what to expect and if ever it has caused any serious implications on other hemorrhoid sufferers such as yourself.

If you have been suffering from chronic hemorrhoids that just won’t go away, then you might have to start considering operative methods to end your misery. Check with your doctor on which type of surgical procedure should be performed based on the severity of your condition. And though such procedures can be classified as major operations, after the recovery phase is over, you won’t have to deal with any hemorrhoids ever again. Take time out from your work or school so that you will be able to get the adequate down time that is needed.

No matter which treatment for hemorrhoids you choose, always remember to undergo follow up treatments and take all the preventive measures needed so that you can decrease the chance of hemorrhoids wreaking havoc on your life again. Make healthy choices with regards to your diet and drink more water than any other type of beverage that may contain ingredients that can worsen hemorrhoids. Having a healthy excretion system is important since it’s in charge of disposing waste material from our bodies. So always keep it in tiptop shape and you’ll soon feel to be in the best shape of your life.

What do you mean by receptionist? – Wow! A sweet, beautiful girl who welcomes everybody at an office with her soft voice. Obesity is like that- it welcomes softly all the major diseases in our body.

Obesity is widely regarded as a pandemic with potentially disastrous consequences for human health. More than 20% of adults in the UK, and more than 30% in USA, are obese the prevalence of obesity has increased ∼threefold within the last 20 years and continues to rise. In developing countries, average national rates of obesity are not nearly so high, but these figures disguise alarmingly high rates of obesity in many urban communities.

Obesity has adverse effects on both mortality and morbidity. Changes in mortality are difficult to analyze due to the confounding effects of lower body weight in cigarette smokers. However, it is clear that the lowest mortality rates are seen in individuals with a BMI(body Mass Index, an unit of measuring obesity, with the normal range is 18-25) of 18.5-24. Data from population studies, such as that in Framingham, USA, show that for individuals aged between 30 and 42 years, the risk of death increases by 1% per annum for each 0.5 kg increase in weight; for those aged 50-62, this figure is 2%. The result is that obesity reduces life expectancy by 7.1 years in men and 5.8 years in women amongst non-smokers, and by 13.7 and 13.3 years respectively amongst smokers. Coronary heart disease is the major cause of death but cancer rates are also increased in the overweight, especially colorectal cancer in males and cancer of the gallbladder, biliary tract, breast, endometrium and cervix in females. Epidemic obesity is accompanied by an epidemic of type 2 diabetes. Obesity may lead to profound psychological consequences for individuals. Society also suffers from the effects of obesity-related disability and early retirement.

Behavioural modification to avoid some of the effects of the ‘obesogenic’ environment is the cornerstone of long-term control of weight. A study of subjects followed up after successful weight loss in Colorado found that the principal predictors of sustained weight loss are the maintenance of high physical activity levels and the regular consumption of breakfast (suggesting a regular eating pattern). All patients should be advised to maximise their physical activity. Where possible, this should be incorporated in the daily routine (e.g. walking rather than driving to work) since this is more likely to be sustained. Alternative exercise, e.g. swimming, may be necessary if musculoskeletal complications prevent walking. Changes in eating behaviour (including food selection, portion size control, avoidance of snacking, regular meals to encourage satiety, and substitution of sugar with artificial sweeteners) should be discussed. Support from a trained health-care professional (e.g. a dietitian) and participation in a group discussion may be helpful.

Now a day Bronchial Asthma is a common problem among the city dwellers around the world. Why city dwellers? Specially due to dust- house dust, industrial dust, chemical dust, tobacco smoke, pollen, mites, or animal dander and other allergens(the very micro sized particle which cause allergy, sometimes cannot be seen even in naked eye) always floating around us. However, it is also found severely sometimes in many people without defined allergies. Loud crying, sneezing or hearty laughing may also bring symptoms. Even cold air can cause this problem-When someone with asthma exercises or breathes in cold air, it occurs. Stress and anxiety also such a condition in which the airways narrows – ultimately cause respiratory disturbance.

So, what do you understand from above few words? The basic principal of asthma is the narrowing of our airway at any point along its total pathway by any foreign substance, environmental or physical condition. In a person with asthma, the airways narrow in response to allergens that don’t affect normal lungs. In an asthma attack, the muscles of the lower part of the airway go into spasm and the tissues lining there swell up and secrete mucous inside the airway. Inhaled air gets trapped in the bottom of the lungs, forcing the patient to use the top part to gasp for air. In severe form lungs airways become so narrow and clogged that breathing is impossible. The episode may pass quickly as usual or last more than a day and may become deadly.

An asthma attack may begin suddenly with wheezing, coughing and difficulty in breathing. Wheezing is a whistling sound, particularly noticeable when the person breathes out. Some people experience asthma attack only as mild and occasional episodes; for them the condition is an occasional discomfort. For others, attack can be frequent and serious, requiring emergency medical management. The person will not be able to utter a word without stopping for breath. However, wheezing may diminish because of gradual decrease of air is moving in and out of the lungs. Then if the person’s oxygen supply is severely limited, confusion, lethargy and blue skin color occur. Rarely some of the lungs’ air sacs (alveoli) may rupture; air enters in the pleural space (the space between the membrane layers covering the whole lungs) or accumulates around the organs inside the chest cage. These all worsens the shortness of breath followed by death.

So these are the breath holding situations with an attack of Asthma. If you have asthma, you should go to physician for regular check up of your lung and continue careful monitoring; you will need immediate medical support for a deadly breathlessness without neglecting it more.

In 2004, the World Health Organization (WHO) estimated that there were 39.4 million people living with HIV/AIDS, 4.9 million new infections and 3.1 million deaths. The cumulative death toll since the epidemic began is over 20 million, the vast majority of cases occurring in sub-Saharan Africa where over 13 million children have been orphaned.

In Botswana, South Africa, Swaziland and Zimbabwe, 25-40% of adults are infected, with rates of 5-15% in most other sub-Saharan African countries. A total of 64% of all persons with HIV live in sub-Saharan Africa, with South Africa accounting for one-third of AIDS deaths globally. Since 2002, the steepest increases have been seen in East Asia (50%), attributable largely to the epidemic occurring in China, and in Eastern Europe and Central Asia (40%), where alarming increases have been seen in the Ukraine, Latvia and Russia. In Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Nepal and Myanmar, HIV is now well established. In India, it is estimated that 5.1 million persons are currently infected; in Tamil Nadu district 50% of sex-workers are infected, and in Manipur over 5% of pregnant women are positive. In northern India, HIV is well established in injection drug-users, of whom 25-50% is infected. Given that Asia is home to 60% of the world’s population, these changes have huge implications.

Many different cultural, social and behavioural aspects determine the regional characteristics of HIV disease. In the USA and northern Europe, the epidemic has predominantly been in men who have sex with men, whereas in southern and Eastern Europe, Vietnam, Malaysia, North-east India and China the incidence has been greatest in injection drug-users. In Africa, the Caribbean and much of South-east Asia the dominant routes of transmission are heterosexual (sex between man and woman) and from mother to child (vertical). The economic and demographic impact of HIV infection in developing countries is profound as it affects the most economically productive and fertile ages and is also eroding the health and economic advances made in the last few decades. Unlike the situation in developed nations, fewer than 5% of patients in resource-poor countries are able to access antiretroviral drugs.

The epidemic in industrialized nations is changing. Heterosexual transmission has become the dominant route, with racial and ethnic minorities representing an increasing fraction. Around 58% of infections in the UK in 2003 were acquired heterosexually and 75% of these were acquired abroad in a country with a high prevalence of HIV, mainly sub-Saharan Africa. High-risk sexual behaviour is also increasing in many developed countries, including in persons aware of their HIV-positive status.

It’s been a bit since the swine flu gripped so many nations with fear and death. You already know a bit about what swine flu is and how dangerous it can be. Now you need to know about eh ways that can keep you away from being affected by this disease. Not only you can save yourself the medical expense by avoiding this disease, you could also avoid death by being careful.

We do not have time to make our body system strong enough to ignore this disease. So we must find ways to avoid it.
The oxygenating substances can be used to avoid swine flu. We all know that swine flu is a virus. If you inhale oxygenated substances, it will increase your oxygen level. An increased oxygen level in your body will keep away the viruses as viruses become inactive in a high oxygen atmosphere.

Be careful while depending on the vaccine. It is not yet sure what vaccine is efficient and what doze should be provided and will it really keep us safe from swine flu. So do not just get vaccinated and feel secured.

Instead secure yourself by following some proven methods which will keep yourself from getting affected with this virus.

We all know that are the things we should do. Things like using a face mask, washing hands frequently with soap, using a tissue paper while coughing. Isolation of the attacked ones and avoiding crowdie places. It is very important that we abide by all these safety rules.

There is another method that has been there for more than 70 years and is tested to be very effective to avoid virus infection. The process is called oxygenation. Get yourself a good oxygenating agent and use it to stay away from the viruses. These can be used easily by yourself and these are very cheap. It would cost you at best 1and a half cents every day. And it your take less than a minute of your time to use it. If you thing and calculate, I would say this is a low price you will pay to keep yourself away from such a disease.

Search for good oxygenating agents online and get them as quick as possible. This is your life and you must do what’s best for it.
